 2step is some kid who has an unhealthy obsession with UK garage, sat with a computer and a copy of fruityloops, whenever he can get time off from his hectic schedule of studying a load of shit at uni/drinking and smoking a load of shit wherever else he happens to be
the budget for this music is pretty close to £0.00 and the majority of dmusic artists are better equipped, better trained, more experienced and probably more serious. however good music does not come from massive amounts of expensive production or even experience. it needs inspiration and an element of luck. 2step does not claim to be more inspired than any other artists but is not any less inspired either... does that make sense? i suppose by the time you read this you will already have listened to a couple of tunes, so make ur own mind up! if u dont like it, it aint your thang!
influences come from the clubs i got to and dance and from those weird thoughts inside my own head. in a way i'm trying to replicate club music but at the same time i dont wanna follow the usual genre formulations... if i do what is the point? sometimes feel like the older i get the more i am learning but at the same time the more i slip into just copying other styles rather than having a unique style of my own. i'm just trying to get that balance right at the moment!
